Singapore style Easy French Toast Recipe also an easy method of preparing French toast at your home.

• 1 egg
• 2 slices of bread
• 1/4 cup (60ml) milk approximately
• 2 slices bread I cut 1″ thick slices of French bread
• butter (best) or margarine, if not oil
• 1/2 teaspoon of extract or similar extract vanilla
• 1/4 – 1 teaspoon nutmeg, cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon of salt
• 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
1. Mix eggs and milk in a bowl, and optional ingredients as desired.
2. Heat a frying pan, skillet or griddle to a medium temperature.
3. Use butter, margarine on the pan.
4. Soak a slice of bread in the egg-milk mixture that prepared before and place on pan repeat until the pan is full.

• Milk – 1/8 cup
• Sugar – 1 spoon

• Vanilla Essence – 1/8 spoon
• A bit of Cinnamon powder
• Ghee / Butter – As required

Directions to prepare
1. Beat both the eggs until frothy. Add milk and whisk it well.
2. Add sugar, vanilla and honey essence
3. Whisk it once again until it is slightly frothy. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture coating on both sides. Heat dosa tawa, drizzle ghee or butter and then add the bread slices and toast it till both sides turn golden brown.

• ½ a cup of milk
• Custard powder 2 tbsp
• Add sugar as per taste
• ¼ tsp vanilla
• salted butter as required

How to make this recipe:
1. Take custard powder sugar and vanilla extract or essence in a mixing bowl
2. Now add ½ cup milk.
3. Keep on stirring till all the sugar is dissolved.
4. Now heat a pan. Add ½ tsp of butter and spread the butter on the pan.
5. Dip the bread slice in the milk custard mixture and let the bread absorb this mixture.
6. Then place the bread slice on the pan. Toast it on a low to medium flame till the base gets golden, flip the bread and toast the other side.
7. Remove the slices to a plate or tray and serve French toasts plain or topped with some maple syrup or fruits.

12 hard-cooked eggs

peeled 1/4 cup of butter

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

3 cups of milk

one tablespoon chicken bouillon granules

six slices of white bread

Directions to prepare

Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks.

Place the egg yolks in the bowl and mash with a fork.

Chop eggs white into little pieces and set to aside.

Melt the butter in the saucepan set over medium heat.

Little by little mix in the milk and chicken bouillon so that no lumps form and continuously stir until this mixture comes to the boil.

Our family loves it when I make this variation of French toast that my grandmother once prepared for me.


Four tablespoons butter

divided six eggs

1/2 cup milk

1/8 teaspoon salt

eight slices bread

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup water

Directions to prepare

Heat two tablespoons of butter/ oil in the frying pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

Beat together eggs, salt, and milk. Keep bread one at a time into egg mixture and fry until light brown, and eggs are the cook.

After four slices of bread have been cooked, melt remaining two tablespoons butter. Cook remaining bread slices until lightly brown on both sides and egg is the cook.

After bread slices have been cooked and removed from the pan, add brown sugar to the pan. Stir until melted and sticky. Add water and stir. Place French toast in caramel sauce. Turn to coat, then remove from pan. Serve.

Haitian French Toast

  • 1 French baguette
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • two eggs
  • one teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • one dash ground nutmeg
  • three tablespoons butter
  • two tablespoons confectioners’ sugar for dusting

Directions to prepare

  • Cut it loaf ends off and reserve for another use.
  • Cut remaining bread into 1 1/2 inch slices; let stand 4 hrs or overnight.
  • In a 9×13 inch baking pan, mixed orange juice, cream, eggs ground cinnamon and white sugar.
  • Place bread slices in the pan and turn until liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Add it bread slices and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes.

Dust generously with confectioners’ sugar and serve warm.

Eight fresh peaches

1/2 cup sugar

Four pinches ground nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

4 Mexican bolillo rolls

1 cup mascarpone cheese

Six tablespoons confectioners’ sugar

One lemon zested

6 eggs

3/4 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Two teaspoons butter or as needed

Two teaspoons vegetable oil, or as needed

Directions to prepare

Peel peaches, remove pits, and slice into the heavy saucepan, catching all juices.

Stir in cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg and cook over medium heat until bubbly. Continue making, occasionally stirring, until the sauce reaches a syrupy consistency, at about 10 minutes. Remove from the heat.

Meanwhile, cut off and discard ends of bolillo rolls. Slice the rolls into one 1/4-inch-thick slice. Lay each slice of bread on board, and with a sharp knife held same to the board, cut a pocket into the each slice, leaving three sides intact. Set aside.

Stir together the mascarpone, confectioners’ sugar, and lemon zest until it smooth. Scoop this mixture into a little plastic bag. Cut off one corner of the bag, and its pipe as much filling into this pocket in each slice of bread as shall fit without overflowing.

Whisk together the vanilla, eggs, milk, and in a small shallow bowl. Melt butter with oil over medium hot in a medium nonstick skillet. Dip each full piece of bread into the batter, add to the skillet, and cook until browned on both sides. Serve hot with the warm peach sauce.

Savory French Toast or Savory Bombay toast as it’s also known as it’s easy and quick breakfast or snack recipe. If you like to eat sweet french toast then you will like this savory version too, I had some requests to post the Savory version of French toast bread after I posted taste French Toast and wanted to post this for a long time, and at the end, this is happening. You can call this egg toast or even bread omelet.

These Savory bread toast as too easy with minimal ingredients and we can customize it according to our needs. This recipe is good for our kid’s snacks, or lunchbox as this toast taste yum even if cold. Or if you look for something easy and fast during morning rush then it’s great breakfast option to pair it with any juice, milkshake or tea/coffee, I made orange milkshake this time with this toasts.


  • 2 – Bread Slices
  • 2 – Eggs
  • Two teaspoon – Chopped Onion
  • 2 – Green Chili
  • One tablespoon – Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Two tablespoon – Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Two tablespoon – Milk
  • one teaspoon – Chopped Garlic
  • To Taste – some Salt
  • Pepper
  • One tablespoon – Butter or 2 teaspoon Oil.

Directions to prepare.

  • Chop onion, green chili, coriander leaves, garlic (if use).
  • In a bowl break eggs and add chopped onion, green chilies, coriander leaves, cheese, salt & pepper, garlic and milk and whisk to combine everything.
  • Heat a Tava or pan and add 1/2 tablespoon of butter, meanwhile, Dip one bread pieces in egg mixture for 10 seconds each side. Use a spoon to spread veggie all over bread piece.
  • Place bread pieces in the pan or have ( the vegetable portion facing down) and spread little vegetables again will help of the spoon.
  • Cook 2 minutes or until golden brown in medium to slow heat, flip the bread and cook again for two mins or golden brown.
  • If required flip few more times to cook both sides until nicely brown and crispy. Repeat it same for another piece of bread with remaining butter or oil.

Easy Bread Toast (with eggs)

Honey – 1 tsp

Eggs – 2(at room temperature)

Beat two eggs until frothy, pale and fluffy.I used my whipper blade which came with the chopper to do this.

Two eggs, beaten

1 1/2 cup whole milk

1/4 small onion, finely diced (about two tablespoons)

1 – 2 green chillis, finely chopped

1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

1/4 teaspoon garam masala

Salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste

Four thick slices of good bread

One teaspoon unsalted butter

1 – 2 tablespoons neutral oil

Directions to prepare

Mix the eggs, milk in a large bowl.

Add the onion, chili, spices and salt and pepper to taste.

Wet the bread slices in the mixture until well coated.

Heat the butter and oil, on a medium heat, in a heavy-based frying pan. When the oil hot, fry the bread slices, until golden brown on two sides. The onion usually slides off the bread, so take a teaspoon and press little bits of onion mixture on bread as it is preparing.

Remove to a warm plate, and keep warm until the rest of the slices are cooked. Sprinkle over the fresh cilantro to garnish. Serve with tomato sauce and hot chili sauce.

ISpicy French Toast (Bombay Toast)

A unique, Indian-style breakfast. We can vary the number of spiciness to your taste by adjusting the chili. The turmeric helps prevent Alzheimer’s and adds color and flavor. It is not spicy. It is both healthy and flavorful to boot. The onions prepare this phenomenal, but they are not necessary. We can use spinach or sliced mushrooms instead of the onion.


Two slices bread (doesn’t have to be white)

One egg or 2 egg whites

Two tablespoons milk

One pinches salt

1⁄2 teaspoon finely some green chili pepper

1⁄2 teaspoon little turmeric

1⁄2 teaspoon oil (for cooking)

1⁄2 from a small onion, sliced (1/3 cup)

One pinches turmeric

salt and black pepper

One garlic clove crushed with knife blade

more green chili peppers or chili powder, if desired (optional)

1⁄2 teaspoon oil

Directions to prepare

heat the saute pan on the stove with oil on medium.

Whisk together the milk, salt, green chili, egg, and turmeric in the large shallow bowl.

Dip the bread into mixture. Submerge both two pieces of bread in at once and flip over once coated.

Then, let sit in the bowl to soak up all eggs.

Gently transfer soaked bread to the heated saute pan and take the bowl to a sink. Wash your hands well and get out a Turner.

Once we can smell bread and it is golden brown color, turn it over and brown the other side.

For optional  – Move the bread to the plate and add some half teaspoon of oil.

Add garlic, chili, turmeric, and onions. (or other veggies).

saute until onion is softened and is translucent, but not browned.

Turn off the stove and top the hot Bombay toast with the onions.

It makes a healthy, tasty, and filling breakfast with some fruit.

Indian Style French Toast

An ideal snack for kids and easy breakfast. I thought this was the typical Kerala recipe until I saw Nigella Lawson make French toast with crusty bread and stone hard plums. There are several times I thank the colonial times for giving us with delicacies such as this or the omelet. In our childhood days, this was a visitor in our snack box. This Indian style french toast is one-way kids have egg and milk together. I am a fan of these beauties even today and my one year old too has started to like this dish. So if you are in a little bad mood for a quick breakfast try some French toast.


Bread slices – 12

Eggs- 2

Milk- 500 ml

Sugar- 5 tbsp

Butter- for toasting

Directions to prepare

Whisk the eggs, milk, and sugar.

Heat butter in the pan. Dunk this bread slices in the egg-milk and toast this bread on that pan.

When one side of the bread browns, turn over to the other side and toast the side till it cooks. Serve warm.

Eggless French Toast

This Eggless French Toast is an another Easy French Toast Recipe in India.


Bread – 3 slices

Milk – 1/4 cup

Custard Powder – 1/2 to 1 tablespoon

Vanilla essence – a drop (if using cornflour)

Sugar – 1 tsp

Ghee / Butter – As required to toast

Directions to prepare

Boil milk, switch off. Now mix the warm milk with custard powder, sugar in a large bowl. Stir well until cornflour and sugar is dissolved fully.

Heat a dosa two, Add ghee or oil. Dip the bread slices on both two sides in the milk, and place the bread slices on the large pan. Keep it to get toasted well now turn it to other side and cook on another side. If its sticky a little more ghee.

Serve with topping of our choice or can be served as such. I like the toasty warm with honey Serve warm. We can also sprinkle little cinnamon powder as the topping when it is still hot and enjoy your toasts.

One teaspoon butter

2 eggs

Dip bread slices one at the time in the egg mixture, and fry in butter or oil until golden.

This German Toast is a new take on French toast. I used a whole grain pancake mix and great Texas toast-style bread.


1 and 1/4 cup pancake mix

One teaspoon cinnamon

Directions to prepare

Heat 1 Tablespoon butter (or heat 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil) over medium-high heat in a big skillet. Make pancake mix due to package directions and stir in the cinnamon.

Dip bread, covering two sides in same in a batter. Fry bread slice at a time until it golden brown, adding 1 Tablespoon of butter per slice.

Serve warm with maple syrup.

German French Toast Recipe with Eggs

4 eggs

2/3 cup milk

Two teaspoons of cinnamon

Eight thick slices of 2-day-old bread


Maple syrup


Two teaspoons freshly grated orange zest

1/4 cup Triple Sec

Fresh berries

Directions to prepare

In a large bowl, whisk together with the eggs, milk, and cinnamon.

Stir in the orange zest and Triple Sec if using.

Whisk mixture until it is well blended and pour into a shallow bowl, wide enough to place a slice of bread you will be using.

Melt some butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Place each slice of bread into the milk-egg mixture, allowing bread to soak in some of it.

Shake off the excess, and place bread slices onto the heated skillet.

Fry the French toast until browned on one side, then flip and brown the other side.

3/4 buttermilk

4 Tablespoon honey

4 Tablespoon butter

Directions to prepare

keep it cut wheat in a food processor and pulse until consistency of coarse crumbs.

Add cinnamon and nutmeg to shredded wheat and mix and set aside in the small baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, beat eggs.

Add buttermilk vanilla to the bowl.

Pour into large baking dish.

In another mixing bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, remaining one tablespoon of vanilla, honey, and blueberries.

Keep in the piping bag and cut off the tip.

Cut a slit at the bottom of a piece of bread and pipe cheese mixture into bread slice.

Cut a slit at the lower part of a piece of bread and pipe cheese mixture into bread slice.

Dip the slice of bread into beaten egg mixture and then into the shredded wheat mixture.

Cook on the buttered skillet for 3 minutes and then gently flip over and continue cooking for 3 minutes.

Pecan Delight Baked French Toast

This Pecan Delight Baked French Toast is very expensive breakfast.And delicious and sweet.This French Toast is also an excellent brunch dish or dessert for something different.You can try it following way.


Six slices thick cinnamon bread

One pkg honey nut spreadable cream cheese

One stick butter (1/2 cup)

1 1/2 c brown sugar

One tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

8 to 9 eggs

One pinches salt

1 1/2 c coffee creamer

3/4 c chopped pecan.

Directions to prepare

Spray 13 by 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Spread each slice bread with the light layer of cream cheese and place in the bowl.

In another bowl, melt butter and brown sugar. Set aside.

In another bowl, mix cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, eggs, creamer and pour over bread. Over with brown sugar mixture prepare in step above.

Sprinkle pecans over entire dish. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.

Next morning, leave covered and bake at 350 degrees F for about 45 minutes. Cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar.

Coconut Berry Macadamia French Toast

This Coconut Berry Macadamia French Toast Great for a brunch or a party. And better for your sweetie for Valentine’s Day.


One loaf of thick white bread

1 lb strawberries or raspberries

1 pt heavy whipping cream

One pkg cream cheese softened

2 Tbsp sugar divided

1/3 c sweetened flaked coconut

1/3 c macadamia nuts, finely chopped

Four egg whites (or just two whole legs. eggs)

1/3 c milk

red food coloring drops

Directions to prepare.

Mash berries and add one tbs of sugar. Set aside.

2In pie plate mixes egg and milk.

In different pie plate mix nuts and coconut.

Dip each slice of bread first in egg mixture, After that in nut mixture and keep in greased, hot skillet. Prepare for a few minutes on each side until golden brown. Sometimes with the thick bread, I even stand them on their sides to brown for a bit.

Whip pint of cream on high until stiff, adding 1 Tbl of sugar towards an end of this whipping. Set aside 1/2 of whipped cream in large bowl. In remaining 1/2 of whipped cream, if desired, can add red food coloring, mix and also set this whipped cream in the fridge until all the French toast prepared.

In a separate bowl, whip cream cheese until soft and airy. Fold into the white 1/2 of whipped cream.

Layer one slice of cooked French toast, cream cheese mixture, some of the crushed berries, another slice of the toast, and after that a dollop of the pink whipped cream and a little more berries. Yum!
